Virgin Megastore Hollywood

Virgin Megastore Hollywood will be closed this summer. The West Hollywood location closed last year. Apparently Pussycat Doll in-stores couldn't help the dying of music retail industry.   However those closing sales are usually great chances to grab a bunch of merch at super low prices, you will find stuff that you never realized you needed until you stumbled across it in the racks.

Virgin Megastore Hollywood is located at Ste 105, 6801 Hollywood Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90028-6137, United States

5810 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles - (323) 464-4777

Let's hear what others have to say about Video Hut:

"Good selection. You can sign up for the extended rental plan (New releases: 2 nights; after 30 days: 5 days) so you have enough time to watch all of the extras on the DVDs. The staff isn't the best for their film knowledge, but they treat the customers very well. I've also bought used DVDs from them with no problems. The parking, however, is awful. Especially when the restaurant next door is busy. Go before dinnertime." - by Crystal323

"When walking into any video hut location, you are greeted by a friendly staff & automatically feel welcomed. They have a wide verity of videos & DVDs for people of all ages, & interests. Everything is well organized & always in the correct locations. If you?re looking for a new release, or maybe just an old flick to watch, Video hut is the store that carries it all. If by any chance they don?t have the film your looking for, simply ask one of there employees & with no problem they will special order it for you. Now that?s what I call being treated like family lol. Highly recommend video hut to all of my friends & family for various reasons. Thank you video hut for making rentals fun & easy." - by Meline86

Kim's Video & Music

Kim's Video & Music was a video rental store in the East Village of Manhattan, New York, New York City, described as the "go-to place for rare selections" and "widely known among the cognoscenti of new, experimental and esoteric music and film". Kim's Video & Music owner was Yongman Kim. It opened in Kim's dry cleaner business and eventually had its own location on Avenue A by 1987.

Kim's Video & Music spread to three other locations, including St. Mark's Place (Mondo Kim's) in the East Village.  Kim's Video & Music is famous for its wildly flavorful selection and a punk attitude.  In it's maze of racks, you’ll find entire subgenres you didn’t even know existed: foreign films from tiny, frozen countries; ridiculous British TV shows; fetish-inspired anime; and tapes of films never even converted to DVD. Each store’s collection is unique. The West Village location is well-stocked with gay interest and porn; Columbia favors families and film students; the three-story East Village Mondo branch is a packrat’s nest of peeling stickers and cult movie posters—complemented by CDs and vinyl.
